About me

Greetings my name is Gursharan, I live in Greater London and work as a private tutor for Holland park Tuition and Education Consultants and for the exam board OCR (Oxford and Cambridge and RSA examinations) as monitor of remarked exam scripts.

I am known amongst friends and students by my shortened name Gursh, which is pronounced in the same manner as "Gersh" in the more popular Western name Gershwin.

I am a Mathematician and I enjoy problem solving. I have a keen interest in computing programming and have dabbled with many mathematics specific languages and software like: Mathematica, MatLab, Julia and Fortran as well as some more general purpose languages like Python, C/C++.

As you may have already guessed, I am very interested in science, computing and of course mathematics.
